5K a year Retail Sales Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist each customer in an engaging and professional manner Take inventory, stock and label merchandise Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all available products Know where products are located in the store Be able to differentiate between products, helping customers compare features Answer all customer questions and address concerns Strong communication skills, the ability to approach and interact with customers Conduct yourself in a professional manner and make every effort to close the sale Handle all transactions with accuracy Ensure customers receive their receipts and items Ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience Maintain the appearance of the store and all displays, restocking as needed Participate in inventory, labeling, stocking, and ordering as needed Retail Sales Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a retail sales setting, merchandising and receiving are strongly preferred Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive and friendly attitude Reliable and punctual Cash register experienced Familiarity with POS software is a plus Commitment to accuracy during all transactions Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 30 pounds Must be honest, trustworthy, and hardworking Receiving experience a plus Job Type:
